Most days are busy in my house. I bet yours are too! During the school year the majority of my days are spent teaching and during the summer we are out exploring. There is not always a lot of time to cook each night! My family still needs to eat multiple times a day though, so I need a solution. I need an easy way to stock the freezer full of healthy meals.
How can I feed my family healthy homemade meals without spending an hour in the kitchen every night?
MyFreezEasy – An Easy Way to Stock Your Freezer
If you answer yes to any of the following questions, MyFreezEasy might be for you:
- Do you have limited time to prepare meals?
- Does anyone in your household have any food allergies?
- Are you tired of blowing your grocery budget on fast food or prepared meal?
I fit every single on of those categories, so I knew I needed to at least try using MyFreezEasy as an easy way to stock the freezer.
MyFreezEasy is a service that helps you prepare 10 meals in only 1 hour. That is a fast way to stock the freezer! Each month you have access to a variety of different meal plans with at least 5 meals.
I tried MyFreezEasy for the first time shortly after we moved to North Carolina. I have made freezer meals before, but it was an all day event. Making 10 meals in only an hour sounded like a dream! Honestly, I didn’t think it could be done. I was hesitant to jump right in with 10 meals. What if we didn’t like the recipes? I didn’t want to be stuck with a freezer full of food we didn’t want to eat.
I decided to start with just 4 freezer meals. You guys, MyFreezEasy made it so easy! It was easy to print out the plans (a combo of gluten-free and crock pot meals), order my groceries online, and follow the instructions.
In just about 30 minutes all 4 meals were finished and in the freezer! Unlike other freezer cooking sessions, my kitchen wasn’t a wreck and I wasn’t dead tired. The best part was that MyFreezEasy really was an easy way to stock the freezer. I didn’t need to think about anything beyond selecting the recipes. Everything else was thought through for me – from the shopping list, to the prep instructions, to the printable labels. So easy!
But, does this easy way to stock the freezer (AKA MyFreezEasy)….
Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences?
A variety of meals plans are available each month:
- All ground beef
- Slow cooker
- Clean eats
- All chicken
- 20 meals (for the overachiever…or someone with 2 hours)
You can also easily create your own customized menu to avoid other allergens, such as dairy or soy.
I am allergic to gluten (truly allergic – I break out in hives and spend days in bed with a migraine) and was able to find recipes to use in addition to just the gluten-free section.
Have recipes and plans for meals other than dinner?
Yes. The member resources page includes instructions for:
- Kid-friendly freezer lunches
- Salad mason jars (don’t put these in the freezer – just make them ahead of time and keep in the fridge)
Include a lot of hard to find ingredients?
No. The MyFreezEasy meals are simple. Part of the reason they are so fast to put together is that they don’t include very many ingredients. Measuring out a bunch of spices takes time. Even though everything is very simple, it all still tastes great. There was only one chicken dish that we felt was a little bland. That was an easy fix though. We just shredded it and turned the chicken breast into tacos.
I like the MyFreezEasy plan because it fits into my busy lifestyle. It lets me meal plan healthy food for my family without taking time away from my family. It is my favorite easy way to stock the freezer full of foods my family actually wants to eat.
