Homeschool Fall Bucket List – Fall Activities for Kids

The start of a new season is a great time to make a list of everything you want to accomplish. It is really easy to spend weekends checking off chores and ignoring fun family activities, but that is no fun! A low-key educational homeschool fall bucket list helps me be intentional with my time. . . which goes by way too fast!
We definitely do not do all of these activities every year, but they are a fun addition to our fall schedule. Some years we make a poster with these fun fall activities listed so we have a fun way to track which of our favorite fall activities we do.
So many regular everyday activities can be educational. There are opportunities to practice academic skills all around us. With a little intention, we can add language arts, math, and science to just about anything. Reading books about a topic is a great way to add a little homeschool spin on traditional fall activities for kids.
In many places, fall is the perfect time to spend time outside. The cooler temperatures are a welcome relief after a hot summer!
Low-Key Educational Homeschool Fall Bucket List – Fun Activities for Fall

When I am creating bucket lists for my own family I try to think in terms of categories for the fall season. I want to include a variety of activities and seeing them organized that way helps me make sure we don’t just spend the entire season baking apple and pumpkin treats while neglecting other fun things.
My family also enjoys Halloween and Thanksgiving during the fall, so I group those items too. It would feel a little silly doing a Thanksgiving activity in September.
Most of these activities can be enjoyed by the entire family!
