Educational board games are a great way to introduce new concepts or review familiar material. They are naturally engaging, which makes them an effective way to learn. I consider them a win-win. Parents are happy that kids are learning, and kids are happy because it doesn’t feel like learning.
Many people think that educational board games are just for elementary-age kids, but that isn’t true. There are absolutely educational games for older children (even high schoolers), too!

Sight Word Swat is very similar to a sight word game I played with my students during my days as a classroom kindergarten teacher. The idea is that each player has a fly swatter.
